CAVE CREEK EQUINE EVENT VENUES
There’s no better place for equine lovers to go than that where true passion resides. This is the promising mission of Desert Palms. Aside from youth riding camps and birthday parties, they also hold horse shows which are great for family bonding and social experience.
A day at Cave Creek Trail Rides is a delightful gift if you opt for a more adventurous theme for your kid’s birthday party. This comes with a guided horseback ride through the beautiful Sonoran Desert – a perfect place to be outside, burning off that birthday energy.
CAVE CREEK EQUINE TRAINING FACILITIES & PARKS
Equine life thrives in Cave Creek with the various training facilities and parks. Operating on its private 870 acres since 1989, MTM Ranch is the most tenured equine life facility in Cave Creek that prides itself on a magical scenery and desert landscape. With a variety of flora, fauna, and trails rich in wildlife and history, riders will surely get fun and learning-filled experience.
Trained by Kelly Boogard, a lifelong equestrian herself, Whispering Hills Equestrian offers a full-service sport horse boarding and training facility.
If you prefer a rather intimate and peaceful facility, you may want to visit Dreamcatcher Healing Ranch. Their utmost belief is that a positive equine experience can provide a healing opportunity and an escape from day-to-day pressures. They specialize in hippotherapy or the use of horseback riding as a rehabilitative treatment.
CAVE CREEK SUPPLY & FEED STORES
There are several places you can buy your equine needs and feeds. One of which is Tractor Supply, a chain that has a wide variety of agricultural & livestock supplies, including tools, workwear, and boots.
And, of course, there’s Black Mountain Feed. It’s an old-school store that gives the best deals for horse feed, hay, supplements, and so much more.
CAVE CREEK EQUINE ASSOCIATIONS & ORGANIZATIONS
Formed in 1996 by local horsemen interested in the sport of cutting, The Cave Creek Cutting Horse Association provides its members the perks of friendly competition for year-end awards and enjoy the thrill of the ride. They’re also very welcome to new members or even mere spectators. Horses, like humans, deserve a safe place to retire at the end of their working years and in a place that has maximum equine life around it. This is the mission of Tierra Madre Horse & Human Sanctuary. Founded in 2006, this nonprofit organization gives our equine family healing, hope, and happiness.
